This chapter runs the test that refusal called for, and states the answer before interpreting it: at twelve draws per task on both sides, counterfactual wording covered 9 of 12 tasks, matching normal wording, passed 44 of 144 candidates, also matching, while using 46% more tokens. Normal stays the default.</p>
