What we are building

A technical library for the AI era

AI is moving too quickly for useful knowledge to live in one format. Important ideas appear in papers, repositories, model releases, experiments and discussions long before they become a coherent body of knowledge. Programmer.ie exists to do that assembly.

The long-term goal is broad: investigate important developments, understand them deeply enough to test and explain them, and publish the durable layer across artificial intelligence, software, finance and technology.

The thesis

AI is becoming the interface to information and technology.

If that is true, AI is not simply another technology category. It changes programming, research, finance, software, knowledge work and increasingly the way people interact with computers at all.

Programmer.ie follows that transition by trying to understand the machinery beneath the claims: what actually works, why it works, what the evidence supports, and how the idea can be used in practice.

How we publish

From fast-moving developments to durable knowledge

The format can change. The method should not.

Start from first principles

Separate names from mechanisms. Identify the distinctions that have to be understood before the subject becomes clear.

Build and test

Use code, notebooks, experiments and working systems where possible instead of relying on description alone.

Separate evidence from claims

Ask what a result actually establishes, what it does not establish, and what competing explanation remains.

Publish the durable layer

Turn the useful result into explanations, learning paths, practical tools and, when the subject deserves it, a book.
