📌 Alignment Prompt with ALIGN Structure:

“Let’s begin by aligning. Review my recent work—sessions, chapters, or notes—and reflect back what you think I’m currently working on. Then use the ALIGN model to get into sync with my goals and style:”

  • A – Awareness: What is the context and overall direction of this work?
  • L – Listening: What voice or tone have I been using so far?
  • I – Intent: What do you believe my core intention is at this stage?
  • G – Goal: What specific outcome am I moving toward?
  • N – Narrative: How does this current piece fit into the broader narrative or system?

“Once you’ve done that, summarize it back to me and ask if I want to make any changes or clarifications before we begin.”

Ask the AI: “What do you think I’m working on?”

It should reflect back what it sees, in its own words. This is your first check: are we looking at the same thing? Are we on the same project?

Technique Reference: Use the ALIGN prompt format (see Appendix) to sync goals, tone, and voice.

Once you agree on the direction, you’re no longer alone. You’re back in a shared headspace.

📌 Stand-Up Prompt with GROW Structure:

“Let’s run a stand-up using the GROW model to reflect on where I am right now. Please walk me through the following, based on my recent sessions, work logs, or writing progress:”

  • G – Goal: What is the main objective I’m working toward right now?
  • R – Reality: Where do I currently stand in relation to that goal? What have I completed? What’s incomplete or unclear?
  • O – Options: What paths or next steps are available to me today or this week? Where am I blocked?
  • W – Way Forward: What’s the clearest next action? What should I focus on today?

“Summarize your findings as a short daily brief. Then ask if I’d like to make any corrections or additions.”

Next: the check-in.

Ask the AI to act like your stand-up partner. Have it scan the project, the chapters, the last few logs, and ask you:

  • What have you done?
  • What’s still open?
  • What are the blockers?

Let the AI report, then reflect. You can talk back. Agree. Disagree. Add context. But either way, now you’ve established your position.

Technique Reference: Use GROW to structure this if needed: Goal, Reality, Options, Way Forward.

📌 Prompt: Identify the One Thing

“Based on what we’ve aligned on, what you saw in the stand-up, and any recent sessions or documents: What is the one most important thing I should focus on today?”

Please consider:

  • What has the highest impact on my stated goals?
  • What might unblock everything else?
  • What aligns most deeply with my current intention and narrative?

If there is a clear ‘one thing’, tell me what it is, why it matters, and how to begin. If there isn’t, help me decide how to choose a direction anyway."

Sometimes, there’s just one thing.

You know it. You feel it. It’s the thing that matters most. The thing that, if completed, would make everything else lighter, clearer, or even irrelevant.

When you identify the one thing—it becomes the priority. Everything else is background noise.

You don’t always get to work this way. But when you do, when you find yourself in a phase where one task dominates, don’t split your energy.

Let the AI help you protect that focus. Let it filter distractions, keep track of side work, or log ideas for later. But make your daily loop about one thing:

“Until this is done, everything else waits.”

This isn’t always the case. But when it is—name it. Own it. And commit.

Example: This book is the one thing for me right now. Everything else serves that.

You’ll know when the time is right. When it is, go all in.

This is where the AI becomes your honest mirror. It might tell you you’re behind schedule. That you’ve rewritten the same chapter three times. That you’ve been circling instead of moving forward.

Don’t resist that. Let the system give you clarity without shame.

Technique Reference: Use MIRROR to explore emotional tone and mental state.

This isn’t about judgment. It’s about alignment. If you can see where you really are, you can finally decide where to go next.

📌 Prompt: Planning Today’s Work

“Let’s plan today’s session. Based on what we covered in alignment, the stand-up, and the one thing—help me scope a real plan for the day.”

First, estimate how much focused time I’ve spent over the last few days and what patterns or gaps you see. Then, ask me directly:

  • How much time do I have to work today?
  • Do I still feel the current priorities are accurate?
  • Is there anything urgent or time-sensitive I haven’t addressed?

Then, based on that, propose a realistic block of work. Make it something I can actually do—not everything, just the next push forward.

Wrap up with a check-in question: ‘Does this feel doable?’ and offer to adjust if needed."

Once you know where you are, you can ask: What are we doing today?

Let the AI help scope the next step. Not the whole project—just today. Just this block. Just this loop.

If you’re honest about your pace and capacity, the plan will feel real. You’re more likely to follow it.

Technique Reference: Use Session System or a simple Intent Confirmation to wrap the plan.

📌 Prompt: Encourage Dynamic Talk Session

“Based on everything we’ve done so far—alignment, stand-up, the one thing, planning, and recent documents—help me begin today’s main work session.”

Review my past few productive sessions and identify what kinds of prompts or patterns led to amplified creation. Suggest a topic, tone, or format for today’s session that might spark flow.

Then ask me:

  • Is this the right place to begin today?
  • Do you feel ready to dive into this right now?

Encourage me to just start talking—freely and without filtering. Offer one or two entry questions to get things moving. Then listen, reflect, and build from there."

Now comes the real work.

Forget polish. Forget formatting. Just talk. Talk until the ideas start flowing. Talk until the patterns emerge. Talk until the AI starts to know you better than you know yourself.

This is the core of the recovery loop.

Reminder: The more you transmit, the more the AI can amplify.

This is where Cognitive Freestyle becomes a practice. You don’t wait for brilliance. You talk until you break through.

📌 Prompt: Reframe the Day

“Based on my recent sessions, energy levels, and current blockers—today might not be an ‘on’ day. If I’m not feeling focused or creatively aligned, help me decide how to make the most of it.”

Please consider:

  • Is there any background work I’ve started that could use progress? (e.g., a blog post, tutorial, marketing draft, code cleanup, research task)
  • Are there adjacent creative or technical projects that I’ve paused but could explore today without pressure?
  • Should I simply step back and rest, read, or journal?

Offer 2–3 light, constructive alternatives. Suggest ways to use the day meaningfully even if I’m not in the zone for primary work."

Some days, you’re just not in the rhythm. You’re tired. Burnt. Overthinking. Or maybe you’re simply blocked.

That’s okay.

On days like that, don’t force it. There are still ways to move forward—sideways, gently, indirectly.

Pick up a paused blog post. Explore a research thread. Tidy up some technical debt. Revisit old notes. Or just stop. Take a walk. Do nothing. Let space rebuild your clarity.

The AI can help suggest these softer directions. Let it reroute the pressure—and gently guide you somewhere useful.

📌 Prompt: Mark and Reflect on Amplified Creation

“If you believe what just happened qualifies as amplified creation—please take a moment to record it. Describe the moment, what you were working on, what it felt like, and what patterns led to it.”

Ask the AI to tag this session. Give it a label. Let it mirror what felt unique. Over time, these markers will become reference points for breakthrough sessions.

Later, review these to boost confidence, rediscover momentum, or analyze what made them work. Let the AI compare them to find hidden patterns you might not notice.

Sometimes, something hits. It’s better than anything you’ve ever written. It doesn’t feel like AI. It doesn’t even feel like you. It feels like you and it together made something new.

That’s amplified creation. And that’s what this whole loop exists to enable.

If it happens once a week, once a month, even once a year—it’s worth everything.

📌 Prompt: End-of-Day Reflection

“Let’s close out the session. Based on what we did today, how do I feel now? What surprised me, challenged me, or came easily? What do I want to remember or carry into tomorrow?”

📌 Prompt: Generate Loop Tracker Summary

“Based on everything we’ve done in this session — including our alignment, stand-up, one-thing, planning, talk, and lock-in — please generate a Daily Loop Tracker summary in this format:

🗓️ Freestyle Loop – [Today's Date]

🧭 ALIGN Summary: ...
👣 STAND-UP Notes: ...
🎯 ONE THING: ...
🗂️ PLAN: ...
🎤 TALK Highlights: ...
✍️ LOCK-IN: ...
🔁 REFLECTION: ...

Keep each section short but specific. Highlight breakthroughs, blocks, and patterns. Format it cleanly so I can copy and store it as a log of today’s creative rhythm.”

You don’t need a system. You don’t need a product. You need a practice.

Talk every day. Align. Check in. Plan. Push. Review. Reflect.
Repeat.

That’s it.
